Auction at Christ Church Tarrytown, Saturday May 16

Everyone is invited to Treasures of the Caribbean, a silent auction and fun-filled afternoon at Christ Episcopal Church and San Marcos, 43 South Broadway, Tarrytown, on Saturday, May 16, 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Steel Passion, the Steel Band of Christ Episcopal Church, will bring its island-style beat to the event, which will also feature a Bar-B-Q, appetizers, beverages and dancing.

This year’s donations include: a July 4th Cape Cod Bed & Breakfast weekend, Hudson River boat cruise, classic road bike, Yankee tickets, restaurant gift certificates, a Sony digital camera, Franklin Mint Monopoly table, private tutoring, a pet care products collection and magazine gift basket.

The wide variety of goods and services to be auctioned are donated by area businesses, individuals and parishioners. Twenty-five percent of the proceeds will go to The Community Food Pantry which assists more than 200 households in Sleepy Hollow and Tarrytown each month with needed supplemental food.
