Manchester United 'hours away' from signing Benfica ace Nicolas Gaitan

United have been linked with the Argentina international for the last two years. 

And the 27-year-old has been touted as a potential replacement for Paris Saint Germain-bound Angel Di Maria. 

Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal is said to be desperate to sign the winger. 

And Spanish news outlet Fichajes claim that while an agreement has not been reached by the two clubs, a deal could be met "within hours".
