Motion Sickness while playing?
So, really interesting game, but I can't play it for long or I feel ill. I think it's a motion sickness/FOV thing, but I haven't had this experience since Wolfenstien.

I have EXACTLY the same feeling... I almost have to vomit (not because it's bad). I think the colours are too bright, my eyes are also hurting a little bit.

Yeah, I also feel the FOV thingy. A friend of mine who plays on the PS4 says the same thing.

The color palette doesn't help. Luckily you get taken out of the environment with the puzzles, but looking around the world is giving me a headache just like minecraft and its ripoffs did

Yeah, I came to the forums to say the same thing. I'm disappointed this game doesn't have any motion sickness options like Talos Principle. It's making it really hard to enjoy a game that looks really cool. I would love to be able to adjust FOV or anything else to help with motion sickness.

Check the stickied thread in the technical support forum, apparently there is a way to change the FoV in the files.

Got a link? Search turned up nothing here.

Works fine, I set mine to 73, which corresponds to a horizontal FoV of 100 for a 16:10 monitor.

I'm glad I'm not the only one.
I had to lie in bed for an hour or two on the verge of vomiting.

I'm playing it on the PS4 and I got really simulator sick, I would like to add that I play a lot of FPS-games on the computer that doesn't make me sick at all. I think the game is lacking a point of reference and that makes you feel bad somehow.

Thanks.
And you can confirm it is working and functional? I'd planned to spend a lot of time with this game which would be impossible at a lower fov. I assumed it had to be adjustable if he was toying around with VR support at one point.

True, the lack of a crosshair can also be a trigger for motion sickness. No idea what to do about that, though. Maybe stick a little piece of duct tape in the center of your TV?

Yes, as I said, it works fine. No glitches or artifacts and the field of view is definitely bigger, I tested it (the game saves your exact position when quitting, so you can easily see the difference).

Same here... get sick after playing for while. I think it is because the mouse-look makes you turn very quickly. If the orientation changes were more gradual, it would probably less nauseating. Fun puzzles though, and amazing visuals, great lighting.

Well, it might be different for you but usually the speed of the mouse look is not the real reason but only a multiplying factor. Usually it's FoV. Try to change that (and also maybe the mouse speed and/or "softening" in the settings in the game).

Got nauseaous and a headache for 3 houres after playing for 45 minutes. This hasn't happened in recent years with other titles. I really hope the increased fov will fix this.
