Visual artist duo Lernert & Sander are putting all of our plating skills to shame.
As part of a commission for the Dutch newspaper De Volkskrant, the pair cut up 98 different raw foods into perfect cubes — and the result is totally mesmerizing.

The team's website explains that each cube is a perfect 2.5x2.5x2.5 centimeters.

Aside from creating an incredibly angular design set-up, it's amazing to see what your favorite foods look like when they've been pared down to cube form.

Trying to guess what food each cube is made of is a fun little challenge in itself. Pomegranate? Kiwi? Mushroom?

Clearly, you can come up with some pretty impressive ideas when you dare to play with your food.
