Chalk up tonight’s WWE event at the XL Center as another casualty of the Blizzard of 2015.

The show’s cancelation, which was scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. and be broadcast live on the USA Network as Monday Night Raw, was announced in a series of tweets by Hartford officials Monday afternoon.

“Tonight’s WWE event at XL center in #Hartford is CANCELLED. New date TBD,” tweeted Maribel La Luz, communications director for Hartford Mayor Pedro E. Segarra.

The XL Center said that tickets for tonight’s show would be honored for a Thursday night live broadcast of SmackDown, which will also air live on the Syfy network.

The WWE said that it will broadcast its Raw show live from a studio at its Stamford headquarters at 8 p.m. tonight. Tuesday’s show in Boston at the TD Garden, which was supposed to be the taping for Thursday’s SmackDown show, has been canceled. The WWE said ticket holders for the Boston show have the option of a refund or exchanging their tickets for a Saturday, June 27 WWE event at the TD Garden.

Gov. Dannel P. Malloy issued a travel ban that goes into effect throughout Connecticut at 9:00 p.m. tonight.

The storm, which could last from Monday afternoon to Wednesday morning, is expected to bring 22-32 inches of snow and heavy winds to the state. Snowdrifts could reach upward of four feet, according to state officials, and there could be as many as 120,000 power outages throughout Connecticut.
