Bobbi Kristina Brown's boyfriend has left a rehab treatment facility.

Nick Gordon was released on April 23, a family member told ABC News.

"He is doing awesome," said the source, adding that Gordon's family was with him when he left the treatment facility.

Gordon sought treatment in early March after an interview with TV personality Dr. Phil McGraw.

The 25-year-old Gordon has reportedly suffered "panic attacks" since Brown was unresponsive in a bathtub on Jan. 31. His mother told McGraw that her son had tried to take his own life.

Brown's  aunt, Leolah Brown, claimed in a Facebook posting on March 1 that Gordon was under investigation for the attempted murder Brown.

Gordon has not been charged by police for any crime. CNN and other media outlets reported in February that investigators were focusing on Gordon, as they try to determine how the daughter of Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston ended up facedown in a tub of water.

Cissy Houston told E! News on April 20 that her 22-year-old granddaughter, who remains in healthy facility in Georgia,  has "irreversible brain damage."
