Great Stereo for great price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This stereo has a lot of excellent features for the price. I only have two complaints that to me are just personal preference. The clock is too small for me to see. This is a combination of where it sits in my 1990 F250 and bad eyes nothing against the deck. The other is the wired microphone. It works very well and no complaints with function just a pain to install and make it look nice. Just a personal peeve. I will be purchasing at least one if not two more of these for other vehicles I own.

Nice features, great price, a few glitches
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like this radio, the HD reception is good, and the features are plentiful. It has plenty of power and the sound quality is really good. I really like the bluetooth connection and everyone says the speaker phone sounds better through the radio than my phone by itself. It does have few quirks, when listening to bluetooth audio, A2DP, the rear speakers do not work. The other day I made a couple calls through the radio and then the preset buttons for the radio quit working. When pressed they would just make the display flash and not change stations. After turning the car off and back on this problem went away. Sations could still manually be changed with the seek button. Another weird thing that happened is when I used the remote to turn the stereo off it would not come back on. The remote isn't supposed to turn it on, but even when I tried the SRC button on radio nothing happened until the power was cycled. Even with the quirks I would recommend this radio for the price I paid ($99), they don't happen all that often and the included features and sound quality far out weigh any inconvenience.

Car Audio - Kenwood CD/Bluetooth audio system
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased a Kenwood CD audio system for my wife's car for Mother's Day. She wanted a bluetooth, in-dash CD unit so we went to our local Best Buy. It didn't take us long to find what we were looking for. We purchased a unit and had it installed a few days later. We're both very pleased with the workmanship of the installation dept as well as with the unit we purchased. We own three vehicles and Best Buy has installed units in two of them. They're fast, efficient, and provide excellent customer service both during and after the sale of the product. I won't go anywhere else for my car audio needs!

Excellent sound with clear stereo and good bass
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The HD radio brings in stations extremely ;well (as well as the Pioneer which I replaced and better than the JVS radios that I have had). The HD radio is well worth the extra money. Love the clarity and the stereo sound (sounds like a CD is playing). I would never buy another radio without HD. Really like the blue tooth with IPhone hook up. Buttons could be a little larger/prominent but I am getting use to them (would not let that stop me from choosing this Kenwood). I am now a Kenwood fan.

Excellent Purchase / Great Price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this radio. It does everything needed to just simply and wirelessly link up to cell phone, ipods. Etc! Super simple to install, (just grab a quick install wiring adapter sold separately, yet cheap and its literally almost plug and play) great display and allows for all sorts of color schemes... Great sound and well worth the money! Even love to CD door cover to keep dust out of the CD Player.. Great idea and works well! Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a nice stereo for lower budgets!

great receiver but could be better
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This receiver is a great little unit. The HD radio comes in crystal clear even on my stock speakers in my Dodge RAM. The bluetooth is excellent, too. It's nice to hear your phone calls through the car speakers. I haven't been able to initiate a call with the voice recognition. I might be doing something wrong, but I honestly think it's a function that doesn't work like it's supposed to. Other than that, everything else works great. There are 2 things that need a LOT of improvement... ONE, the clock is way too small to see, there needs to be an option for a full face view of the clock...And TWO, the display is almost impossible to see with even a small amount of sunlight shining on the face of the receiver. Overall, I'm pretty happy with this receiver. And 1 other thing...if you need an update, let the pros do it. I tried it myself and lost all power to it and ended up having to take it in to the pros at BestBuy.

Good radio
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this mainly in order to get Bluetooth functionality in my car. The radio pairs great with the phone, I love being able to play Pandora, or music from my phone, and the hands free calling is great. The only downsides are that it is slow to switch between inputs, and the controls are difficult to read when it is light out (hard to tell which preset is which / etc)

Very happy with my purchase
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Does everything as advertised. Bought open-box from Best Buy and works perfectly. Works great with my iPhone 6 for incoming calls and bluetooth audio. The one big negative is the clock is too small and illegible in any sunlight.

Q: QuestionSteering wheel controlsWill this work with the controls on my 1999 grand am steering wheel ?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Yes, but only with an adapter. I have this in my 2005 Grand Am along with the PAC Audio RP5-GM11 adapter and the steering wheel controls work perfectly. You can even assign how the buttons work to your liking. You should be able to find the RP5-GM11 for ~$100 through online retailers, I did.
