DOHUK, Kurdistan Region—Kurdish Peshmerga forces have been able to capture a strategic mountaintop close to the Syrian border which cuts the supply route for Islamic State militants. Peshmerga artillery can target the road and effectively limit militant movement between Mosul in Iraq and Raqqa in Syria.
