NORTON, Mass. (AP) — Three motorcyclists have been injured by a driver going the wrong way on Interstate 495 in Norton.

Police say the three men were injured Sunday morning after being struck by a Toyota driven by a Rhode Island woman traveling south in the northbound lane.

One of the motorcyclists, a 38-year-old Brockton man, was thrown from his bike and sent to Rhode Island Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

A 28-year-old Pawtucket, Rhode Island, man and a 36-year-old Brockton man were also injured.

Their identities haven’t been released.

The driver, 69-year-old Hilda Fzala, of East Providence, Rhode Island, has been charged with driving under the influence of alcohol resulting in serious injury and other offenses.
