Shortly surpassing Michael Jordan as scoring leader, Kobe Bryant remains in the spotlight with the upcoming release of the Nike Kobe 9 Elite “What The” sneaker. Earlier, we gave a sneak peek of the newest addition to the Black Mamba’s brood of footwear, and now bring you more extensive looks of the shoe. The sneaker stands out with its bold multicolored palette, with dominant green and orange-pink tones on each shoe’s Flyknit upper that highly contrast with the light greys found on the heel cup, collar lining and speckled midsole trim. Kobe’s logo, the Sheath, is emblazoned on the tongue, and a bright polychromatic melange is found in the inner collar of the shoe. The highly anticipated shoe has an ostentatious mix-and-match aesthetic that alludes to the colorways of previous versions of the Kobe 9 Elite silhouette. The Kobe 9 Elite “What The” sneaker will be available on January 10 at Nike for $225 USD.
