Chase leads the Product & Strategy organization for Nielsen Catalina Solutions. In this role, Chase determines where the company plays and how it wins by managing its technology investments and partnerships to balance innovation ahead of emerging trends while delivering on current client needs. He also leads the company’s strategic relationships and alliances required to serve a rapidly evolving marketplace.

Prior to joining Nielsen Catalina Solutions, Chase served five years in marketing analytics at Nielsen. He joined Nielsen in 2005 as a Project Analyst in its consulting division and ascended the ranks performing an array of roles where he managed multiple aspects of online ad effectiveness products, such as Yahoo! Consumer Direct and Sales Effect delivering more than 50% revenue growth year over year for multiple years. He joined Nielsen Catalina Solutions in 2010, driving innovations including the successful launch of its first TV Return on Ad Spend product as well as expanding the company’s digital and mobile capabilities and partnerships.

An Eagle Scout and a graduate of Miami University of Ohio, Chase earned his Bachelors of Science in Decision Science and Accounting before going on to DePaul University, where he graduated with an MBA in Marketing Strategy and Entrepreneurship.

Erik is a Chicago-based serial entrepreneur, intrapreneur, and business leader who is an avid mountain climber, water polo player, Ironman triathlete, skier and adventure seeker. He obtained his MBA in Entrepreneurship at Kellogg School of Business.

As a student at the University of North Carolina, he was part of the founding team for iContact (a leader in email marketing), started and operated MainBrain, a K-12 education software infrastructure company, and helped run a small consulting firm.

After college, Erik took a consulting job at IBM and in six years rose to a position as a Partner in IBM’s IT Optimization Practice. Some of the highlights at IBM include bringing new products to market and acquiring a patent on fundamental cloud computing algorithm. An entrepreneur at heart, Erik left IBM to return to building startups in April of 2011.

SimpleRelevance is the only modular, open machine learning platform that enables digital marketers to better communicate with customers via any channel. Companies can now optimize their marketing to best reach consumers with relevant messages.
