A Letter To: Ubisoft

Entertainment Fuse wrote:

"Dear Ubisoft,

2014 was a crazy year for you guys and gals. You released a lot of games. You launched two new IPs and you even released a lot of Assassin’s Creeds games. Like a lot. Like…ok, like maybe too many if I’m being honest.

But this was far from a great year for you. Unity was and for many is broken and filled with bugs. Watch Dogs got mediocre reviews and The Crew did as well. But hey, Far Cry 4 was pretty damn good…even if it was basically Far Cry 3.5."

I really liked Watch Dogs, actually. I've also noticed a good amount of the hate for it is just bandwagon.

Who cares if Far Cry 4 was like Far cry 3? Far Cry 3 was shooter of the year.

I haven't played the Crew.

Unity is a buggy mess.

Ubisoft did not release too many Assassins Creed games this year. The released TWO. I think what you mean to say was there are too many Assassins Creed games in general.

As for the topic..... Climbing towers does get tedious.

The bashing Ubisoft took this past year was exactly what I wanted from the moment they unnecessarily censored South Park: Stick of truth in Europe (quiet, yes they did. Plenty of movies have different versions for Germany alone, as did this one) to the point that I almost feel like I made it happen with my mind.

It was beautiful to watch them get the treatment they richly deserved in the media and among the people. It's like when a girl dumps you then winds up dating some loser asshole who treats her like crap. I finally know how my ex-girlfriend's ex-boyfriends felt.

Assassins Creed franchise is the best. The fact that Unity had bugs does not make it a bad game. There are much worse games in 2014 (indeed have fewer bugs). I prefer to play Assassins Creed. Looking forward to buy and play this year Victory.

This update on PC kills mods, they still didn't improve or fix the draw calls and if you have an RTX card the game still crashes unless you turn off debris.
So if you mod the game it now looks worse, plays worse, all of your saves are broken and the game breaking bugs are still present.

Good work detective

Bethesda strikes again, always thought their games were a tad boring anyway, this was even before Microsoft brought them. Used to quake 3 team arena to death, on an old pc, at the time it was new, fresh, fast paced and innovative, their games these days, are none-of-the-above
