Blood Opinions -Too Obvious, Not Going To Title It That

SteamFirst: With the advent of the influx of retro releases on Steam, this was almost as inevitable as it was welcome. I almost believe that this game was released so some marketing guru can take the lead character’s opening line, “I live, again,” slap it on a press release, and get paid. It might just be that there is enough nostalgia for the initial game that squeezing the rock to extract the titular substance is a no brainer. Whatever the case, Monolith’s Blood is back.

I'm surprised Ratchet & Clank wasn't on the list. Late Saint's Row games, with more imaginative weapons like the Shark gun and the armchair with guns would fit on a part two list as well

NomadsReviews1300d ago

I'm not familiar with Ratchet and Clank (not my sort of game) but I'll add it to the list for part two along with Saint's Row. Thanks for the suggestions :-)

look up resistance fall of man from insomniac as well. there were some interesting weapons for that too

P_Bomb1299d ago (Edited 1299d ago )

@phoenix
Resistance series 100%. Especially the secondary fires. Auger shields, Bullseye tags, Magnum detonator, Rossmore incindiary, then throw a Hedgehog for good measure. By the time I got to R3 they were onto Atomizers and Mutators. Armory speaks for itself.

Does the unicorn weapon from Red Faction: Armageddon counts?

gleepot1299d ago

Cerebral Bore from Turok 2. Farsight from Perfect Dark.

Thank you to everyone for your excellent suggestions. They have all been added to the list for part two which should be published by the end of the month :-)

Blood remaster screenshots

Publisher Atari and developer Nightdive Studios have released new screenshots of the December 2018-announced horror first-person shooter Blood remaster.

TheProfessional1863d ago (Edited 1863d ago )

Can't wait for this, hopefully they do Blood 2 next! This series is extremely underrated and compatibility has always been a problem for both games since their inital release.
