No evening on the red carpet is complete without an envy-worthy ensemble or two, and of course, a handful of sartorial misses—and this year's Colors Party had a healthy dose of both.
Sridevi earned herself a power position in our Best Dressed list, sauntering in one of Anamika Khanna's newest pieces, complete with severe top knot and ebony eyes. Taking a completely different approach was Miss Vogue cover star Alia Bhatt in a girly multi-coloured number by Izzue. A bonus: her sunny yellow Edie Parker clutch, announcing her happy state of mind.
Shraddha Kapoor and Gauahar Khan were close seconds when it comes to perfect ensembles. While the first chose a violet Philipp Plein skirt with matching blazer, the latter picked a punchy tangerine gown by Nalandda Bhandari.
Joined by Madhuri Dixit-Nene, Malaika Arora Khan and Kalki Koechlin, the men fared well on the Colors red carpet too. For Hrithik Roshan, it was a purple suit, while Varun Dhawan went a little more traditional in shades of charcoal. Sidharth Malhotra went casual for the evening, throwing a blazer over a printed t-shirt.
