Amazon begins publishing reader-nominated books, pre-orders open now

Amazon is accepting pre-orders for the first 10 titles discovered through Kindle Scout. The platform allows readers to vote for books to be published under its Kindle Press banner.

The 10 successful titles are in the romance, mystery, science fiction and thriller genres. Here’s the full list of books that will be released on March 3:

Kindle Scout was launched last October. The program lists books for 30 days each to garner votes; the titles that rack up the most votes are snapped up by Amazon for release. Voters also get a free digital copy a week in advance if their chosen books are published.

In addition to the aforementioned genres, Kindle Scout will begin accepting contemporary fiction, historical fiction and action & adventure submissions from today. You can find upcoming titles selected for publication on the program’s site.
