Samsung Galaxy S6 Information:

Samsung Galaxy S6 was one of the most anticipated devices of the year, which is usually the case with Samsung's Galaxy S line. This Korea-based company has unveiled their new flagship device at their 'Unpacked' event in Barcelona as part of MWC. This time around, the company has opted for a unibody metal design, which is a significantly different approach by the company, in comparison with their previous smartphones of course. The Galaxy S6 doesn't offer removable battery or microSD expansion this time around, which are some trade-offs that come with this design. The company has packed in top-of-the-line specifications here, which was to be expected. Let's check out what lays inside of the Galaxy S6.

The Galaxy S6 features a 5.1-inch QuadHD (2560 x 1440) Super AMOLED display along with 3GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 32GB, 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. Samsung's very own 14nm Exynos 7420 64-bit octa-core processor powers on this handset. This SoC ships with Mali-T760 GPU for graphics and a 2,550mAh non-removable battery. 16-megapixel OIS camera is located on the back of the Galaxy S6, and is flanked by an LED flash, while a 5-megapixel snapper is available up front. Android 5.0.2 Lollipop comes pre-installed on the Galaxy S6 with Samsung's TouchWiz UI on top of Google's OS. This handset measures 143.4 x 70.5 x 6.8 mm and weighs 138 grams.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Editor Rating:

The Galaxy S6 is an improvement over its predecessor, that's for sure. You no longer have  a removable battery, or the access to the microSD card though, but you do get a premium built smartphone which now actually looks like a flagship device. Unfortunately, Samsung didn't exactly cut back on the amount of pre-installed applications, and has even added some additional ones in there. The company still has some areas that they need to improve, and it's mostly software-related at this point. It will be interesting to see what will they do next year, that's for sure. Anyhow, the Galaxy S6 is a flagship device in every way, and if you're in a market for a Samsung-branded flagship, this handset is most certainly something you should consider buying.
