Here's What Nelly Did To Support Victims Of ISIS

Derrty brought 'Nellyville' to Iraq.

Nelly made history on Friday (March 13) when he performed in Erbil, Iraq at a charity event in support of ISIS victims, according to Time.

The rapper, who was there for an event hosted by humanitarian organization Rwanga, became the first American to perform in Erbil in its 3,000-year history, according to the report.

For this historic moment, Nelly rapped in front of 15,000 people at a major event that also featured a soccer tournament and a motocross show.

The area has been one of conflict recently in a fight against ISIS, the Islamic State of Iraq and Greater Syria, which has come within 25 miles of Erbil, according to Time.

Proceeds from the Nelly event were donated to “those impacted by the recent conflict in the area,” Rwanga said.

We're not sure what Nelly's setlist for this performance was like, but we're thinking "E.I." had to be in there.
