EXCELLENT mechanical keyboard.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After being terribly fed up with Razer drivers and crummy quality, I full on made the switch to Logitech Gaming series and I couldnt be happier. The drivers work, the apps work, they keyboard is responsive and feels great. This particular keyboard is DEFINITELY pricey, but you get some seriously cool stuff along with it. The Arx control app is excellent after the last update and it saves me from opening another piece of software to have on my second monitor to keep tabs on temperatures and utilization - instead I have an older HTC One that is now permanently in the dock on the keyboard constantly monitoring the situation. Super cool. The API and other keyboard lighting effects are excellent as well. Each key is individually programmable for lighting and you can do some seriously neat stuff. The mechanical keys are quiet - not as stealthy as chiclet or laptop style keys, but not overly loud and clicky. they have good, positive engagement and feel great. It DOES take a few days to a week to get fully use to the keys and the feel, but once you do, its the best feeling keyboard i've ever used. No complaints here - EXCELLENT stuff. NOTE - with the onboard media controls - for them to work, you have to enable a specific service in windows that occasionally gets turned off. Here are the instructions.... - Go to controlpanel --> Performance and maintenance --> Administrative tools - Choose services and scroll down to find "Human interface devices" right click on it and press START - Thats it. Media keys should now be working. To make sure they ALWAYS work and you dont have to do it again, - Right click Human Interface Devices and choose properties --> and change startup type from manual to automatic

So far, so good - no issues with keys
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I upgraded to this keyboard from an older Logitech G15 which had lost its backlighting brightness. I was considering going with a fully mechanical keyboard but I game late at night and was worried about clicking the house awake. I had read some of the reviews for the G910 and I was hesitant to buy due to the number of complaints about the keys falling off, failing, etc. I decided I'd give it a try (BB does offer a 2 yr extended warranty but that's a whole other discussion that I equate to quasi-gambling and will spare you at this point). So far, I love this keyboard. It's about the same noise level as my older G15 and I love how much brighter it is. Added bonus is the adjustment you can make to the colors across all or individual keys. I don't believe there's any significant "mush" factor to the keys themselves but I haven't used a lot of different kind of keyboards so I can't give you a deep opinion on that. I do miss the LCD readout my older G15 had. There's a plastic tray you can sit your phone/tablet in and an app you can download to give you similar functionality so it's a bit of a trade off. I put this in the take it or leave it category, personally. One item to note is that there are no longer any USB ports on the keyboard itself. The G15 had two USB ports and I used one for my wireless mouse. Now I have the wireless dongle plugged into my PC. No big deal but a change from what I'm used to. The media controls on the keyboard work as expected so no surprises there. The brightness button offers on/off only, no off/low/high option there (again, like my G15 had). The one item that falls into the funky category is the edges of the keys are raised a little bit so each key is like a tray. I don't think it impacts my ability to type but it is a little strange from your standard key feel. Not a huge ding, just another item that's a little different. I don't utilize the G-programmable keys at this point so I can't offer any feedback on the new layout (e.g. G1-G5 down the left-hand side and G6-G9 above the F1-F4 keys). Overall, I'm happy so far with the G910. I'm glad I decided to purchase the keyboard. If you're considering this keyboard, you can always take advantage of the return policy if you're not happy. That's what my plan was but I'm going to keep it. Good luck!

G910 Keyboard
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Man this keyboard ROCKS!! there are soo many ways to control not only key function but lighting color and quality. Its pricey for a keyboard and If discounted any do not pass it up. The key's themselves feel super responsive and esthetically feels real good. The thing I like most about it, is you can set function keys and then color code them all separately. There is a stand at the top of the keypad to hold your Ipod, Iphone, or what ever device you like to use with the Logitech Arx Control App. That also is top o the chart for me and my use in game and monitoring my Computers Temp, and such. I am a hardcore gamer and would recommend this to everyone and even to my Mother. lol

LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This keyboard is easily one of the best I have ever used. I also had just recently purchased the Razer Blackwidow Ultimate CHROMA a few weeks before i got the Spark and I can honestly say the colors on the spark truly rival those on the Razer. the Razer lights can be seen between the keys as well as thru the letters on the key where as the spark it only goes thru the actual key (Which I think is better because while playing in the dark the whole point of lighted keys is to see which key to press and it is much easier to do that on the spark) but they both are very bright & both have the option of dimming as well as changing the lighting effect. The spark has several very useful buttons G keys that u can assign functions to and it has single function media buttons and a volume control as well (the Razer has media buttons too but only on muti use keys so to use the media buttons u have to press and hold the FN key) The Spark also has M keys like the Razer as well. both keyboards make the clacking sound but the Razer's "clacking" is very loud compared to the spark. but both have the same feel of resistance when u press down. and the spark keyboard itself feels and looks more sturdy and professional while the razer has a very Plasticy feel and look to it. the spark feels just more sturdy in its body as well as the keys and looks more like an actual serious keyboard. All in all I use the spark as my first choice gaming keyboard, & I would Def Recommend this to any gamer! Happy Gaming!!

Great looking highly efficient gaming keyboard
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Logitech G910 is a very flexible programable gaming keyboard. This is a mechanical keyboard that has a good responsive feel. The customizable back color on the keys allow you to configure any color pattern you like. Each key can be set to illuminate the specific color you choose to meet your needs. This is a great keybroad for MMO based games. The keyboard can also be programmed to change color as need to meet your specific game play or key sequences.

Great Keyboard for Gaming or Typing
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Before I purchased this keyboard I checked a ton of the reviews. I noticed that several people had stated that the typing on the keyboard was difficult, I totally disagree. The keys seem to "form" around your finger as they are kind of caved in some so your finger fits perfectly on the key, but it does take a little bit of time to get used to it not long though. I really like the G keys they are awesome for Starcraft. Also, The Software that comes with it I think is really nice and has great customization for the color schemes it has, or the free mode were you can choose how you want it colored which is what I use. The only Real downside to it I guess would be the size, it is bigger then other keyboards I have used. I dont care though lol. Pros: Great Feeling mechanical keys Easy to type with the curved in keys Colors on Keyboard looks great with no bleed Nice G Keys Cons: Size of keyboard... I guess?

Awesome keyboard!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the fantasy space ship / Star Trek inspired look. Did take a little bit to get used to the curved keys and the fancy new actuators but I love it. I also love that you can customize every key's color or turn individual keys' lights on or off. I also love that it came with a $50 Steam card! All in all, feel good about this purchase.

Smooth typing, great gaming board
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I suspected before purchasing ROMER-G switch keyboard, but after used it for a while, I am quite happy. Similar to Cherry MX Red switches keyboard, smooth typing experience, you will find great confidence typing/gaming on it. Comes with 2 wrist rest, small and big. Good backlit, only thing is that lack of backlit variation, hope it get fixed with future Logitech software update.

Q: Questionwhat are the best features to have on a mechanical gaming keyboard?I am purchasing a mechanical keyboard for my son for christmas , but do not know which one would be best for him. I do not mind paying a higher price for better made, better features and better quality , or even features that may not be necessary, but add a wow factor, but do not want to pay for things that are probably all hype
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Logitech has better priced equipment with the same (if not more) features than razer products. I don't mean to really dig at razer here, but they really are hype-priced. They do not offer as much support or functionality in their products that Logitech does. It's not to say their equipment isn't good at all, but it really is not worth the cost associated with the name. It's kind of like choosing Levi's or Wrangler, Levi's cost more just because of their name, even though both are of identical quality. The Orion keyboard, as the model number suggests, 910 is one of the top tier, which means it has many more customization options than the others (500 series, 700 etc.) If he is a serious gamer, then I would suggest top tier for a few reasons: Maintenance is simpler More control More Customization Options Great support If he doesn't play often, 700 series is plenty good enough. It won't have the same type of back-lighting etc, but they are not to be marked as "bad" they just have less features, built on the same concept as top tier. I use the 910 for programming, gaming, and web development. I had to upgrade from the 700 series because I needed to be able to customize the lighting on the keys for dark-room typing ease. I know this advice is a bit late, but hopefully this helps you or someone else.
