Halo 3: ODST set to drop on The Master Chief Collection next month

Today on the official Halo Waypoint blog, developer and Halo franchise steward 343 Industries announced that the next title update for Xbox One's Halo: The Master Chief Collection would be bringing more than fixes and stability updates to the game. In addition to the long-promised remake of the Halo 2 multiplayer map Relic, 343 also believes that the remastered version of Halo 3: ODST should also launch next month in "1080p and 60fps."

Both Relic and Halo 3: ODST will be made available free to players who purchased and played The Master Chief Collection between Nov. 11 and Dec. 19 last year. The free content is part of 343's continued efforts to make good after the disastrous launch of The Master Chief Collection, which saw a near-complete failure of multiplayer matchmaking and various bugs and issues for weeks after its release.

The latest update for MCC is available today, bringing with it a number of tweaks, fixes, and stability improvements to the collection. You can find additional information about these changes at Halo Waypoint.
