Big PR Shakeup at Time, Inc.

EVP Corporate Comms position eliminated

In what looks like a big change at Time, Inc. and its assorted properties, the company’s top two PR executives have been pushed out and their positions eliminated.

As reported by Poynter, both EVP of Corporate Comms Teri Everett and SVP of Comms and Brand Development Nancy Valentino are no longer with the company as of this morning.

A note from company CEO Joe Ripp and EVP Evelyn Webster confirms that the company will be “eliminating the role of EVP, Corporate Communications.”

In place of the two ousted executives, former VP of investor relations Jaison Blair will assume the role of “SVP in charge of corporate communications” and SVP of marketing Susan Parkes will handle all PR duties related to the company’s biggest titles: People and Entertainment Weekly.
