Cook the pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water with a splash of oil to keep it from sticking together. Boil for 12 minutes, or according to the directions on the package. Drain well and allow to cool. Place the pasta in a bowl and add the tomatoes, olives, feta and chopped sun-dried tomatoes.
For the dressing, combine the sun-dried tomatoes, vinegar, olive oil, garlic, capers, salt and pepper in a food processor until almost smooth.
Pour the dressing over the pasta, sprinkle with the Parmesan and parsley, and toss well.

Absolutely amazing! I pretty much followed the recipe as written...made the dressing as written (except added the grated parmesan to pasta later), used ½ lb pasta, then eyeballed the remaining ingredients (used halved grape tomatoes). I also took the suggestion from another reviewer and added sliced sausage (I used Italian). This will become a regular dish for us.

I loved this recipe! I used homegrown cherry tomatoes and the little bursts of sweetness were delicious compared to the tartness of the olives and feta 😋

I’m a lone wolf it seems, and found this just barely ok. I usually adore InaG recipes. For my tastes, far too much cheese (all we could taste), too salty, not enough fresh tomato, and needed crunch. If I made again, I would use half the Parm, half the olives, not add salt to dressing, and add another 1/2# tomatoes. And an earlier suggestion to add toasted pine nuts sounds brilliant!

Not a lone wolf. Ina tends to be heavy handed with certain ingredients ( especially salty ones)

I've made this a few times and lately have been leaving out the cheese, and so this comment is to say, it's still delicious without any cheese. I recommend using a good quality rotini, and under-dressing at first, saving half or so for later or for another batch. The ratio of tomatoes to pasta makes this a pretty big amount of food depending on the pasta you use.

This was a hit with everyone! I love toasted pine nuts so I added them for flavor and crunch. Will definitely make this again.

I don’t like sun dried tomatoes. Any suggestions?

Make a different recipe. The sun dried tomatoes are the foundational flavor in this dish.

I substitute the sun dried tomatoes with Bruschetta. The flavors of the garlic and oil in the bruschetta really add to this pasta salad. You won't even need to make the dressing! 😋

I've made this multiple time and it's the best pasta salad I've had by far. The dressing is amazing! Used only half the feta. 1lb would be way too much. Also used a little less parsley. Could also have just increased the pasta amount instead if i just wanted more. No extra salt is needed beyond flavoring your pasta water. Plenty comes from the cheeses.

I know that very few reviewers have actually made this, because the ingredient measurements are FAR off. There is no way that 8 ounces of pasta will take the additional ingredients and look anything like the picture. Use 8 ounces of tomatoes and 8 ounces of feta. Otherwise, it becomes a feta tomato salad with some pasta in it. I know lots of chef don't give out their actual recipes, but I hadn't experienced that with Ina before.

Its 1/2lb pasta!
LB CookJune 19, 2023
8 ounces is 1/2 lb.

I've made it many times and the ingredient proportions are perfect for my table. To each their own.

Can I make this ahead and add the feta shortly before serving? It would be in the fridge overnight.

Really awesome! It doesn’t need the Parmesan in my opinion, plenty of cheesy flavor with all the feta.
