Watch Terry Crews Serenade Betty White with the Golden Girls Theme

Seth Rogen looks on with delight.

What we have here is the musical opening number to this Saturday’s TV Land Awards. And sure, we know, the TV Land Awards are sort of under the radar as far as awards shows go. But we know by now that awards-show host is a tough gig, and from what we can see from this first look, Terry Crews (everyone’s favorite Brooklyn Nine-Nine-er) nails it. While perennial emcees Hugh Jackman and Neil Patrick Harris will tell you it helps to be a song-and-dance man, Crews is a host for a new millennium. Why sing when you can lip sync? Crews completely commits to mouthing along to this medley of TV themes, but the unquestionable highlight is when he dedicates The Golden Girls theme song to Betty White. With that much charm in one frame, we’re all pretty much reacting like Seth Rogen.

White is in attendance at the awards show because she works for TV Land, but that tables behind her are filled with the likes of Rogen, Judd Apatow, Paul Feig, Jason Segel, and Busy Phillips, who gathered together in honor of the 15th anniversary of Freaks and Geeks. (Sorry, no James Franco.) Other cast reunions at the ceremony include The Wonder Years, Parenthood, and Ally McBeal. The TV Land Awards air Saturday, April 18, at nine P.M.
