BARCELONA — Much-maligned driver service Uber launches UberEATS in Barcelona this week. The service, which uses Uber drivers to deliver meals, first tested in Los Angeles where it went by the name UberFRESH. UberEATS promises to deliver food in partnership with Plateselector, a dining guide website, within 10 minutes. Users may order UberEATS through the Uber app when in Barcelona.

NEW YORK CITY — Kitchen whiz Flynn McGarry — who is now 16 years old — is popping up in New York City on February 27 and 28 and March 1 and 2; the price for McGarry's tasting menu has gone up, as Eater NY notes: Dinner is now $180 with a $65 wine supplement.

THE CHAINS — McDonald's Shamrock Shake is back at participating locations until just after St. Patrick's Day. One of McDonald's most popular items since its inception in 1974, the shake is made from reduced-fat vanilla ice cream and something mysteriously called "Shamrock Shake syrup" which imparts a green color. Whipped cream and a cherry top it off.
