He heard the bloke gasp and squeal, and a moment later there was a rustle and a series of slippery sounds. Then, only silence. The stranger had sure been freaked out by Zayn manifesting his presence, and ran for the door, leaving only a heavy scent of almond shower gel behind.
Good job, Zayn. Now you’ll never know who it was who gave you a boner with just his voice.-
Zayn has a kink for a good, low, raspy voice. When he hears someone sing in the communal showers, and he gives himself away, the guy runs. Zayn has literally no way of ever finding him again.
That's a problem. Because Zayn can't get the lad's voice out of his head. -

Zayn notices the fond smile smearing crinkles round Liam’s eyes when he realises Zayn is wearing his football shirt, his fingers fisting the crimson material pooling at Zayn’s thighs. He wears it a lot, the ‘PAYNE’ written over his back a little comforting when Liam isn’t there, or when they’re out and everyone is cosying up to Liam at the bar, or trying to dance with him.
(Not that he needs to worry – because Liam holds his hand the whole time and always interrupts with tiny kisses wandered over his cheek and dipped into his hair).A short sequel to we are the quiet ones

After class, Liam raced so quickly to get to his calculus course that he forgot to get his pen back. Although, Zayn couldn't quite leave his mind. For the rest of the day, it was shaking legs and tapping pencils while feeling that the boy with the red sweater could be behind him. Who was he? Why did Liam care so much? Every metronomic heartbeat and soft noise in his peripheral was Zayn. Liam carried him around until evening, hoping to see him lighting a cigarette or wandering the halls.

Summary
Because now that he thought about it, he did vaguely recall Niall mentioning an Ashton a time or two but he hadn’t really paid the name much mind, something he did often when Niall went into frat boy mode. It was endearing for the most part but exposure to it in large spans became a bit much, not to mention last week he’d been stressing out on account of a Statistics exam he just knew was going to fail.
Niall hadn’t mentioned however that this Ashton bloke was his little and he sure as hell didn’t say anything about those dimples or that face that Niall would be in the presence of often for the next couple of weeks. Zayn sure as hell would’ve paid attention to that information if he had.

He could feel the sun (as dark and dank as it was) forcing it’s way through the few slits available in his closed curtains and hitting parts of his face. The outside world. Where they wanted him to speak to others. Where they thought it was okay that there was even the slightest possibility that he could run into Mark James - a tragedy he was sure he couldn’t make it through.
Not that he would start to cry, or anything. He really wouldn’t. He’s tougher than that. Really.
