Memorial Service for Stephen Frauenthal
Mr. Frauenthal taught in Chappaqua and at Hackley for many years.
A memorial service is scheduled for Stephen C. Frauenthal, a teacher in the Chappaqua public schools and at the Hackley School for a total of 53 years who died on May 27, 2015.
The service will be held at the Hackley School, 293 Benedict Avenue, Tarrytown, New York, on Saturday, September 12, at 11:00 AM. Refreshments and an opportunity to share more memories will follow the service.
Born Dec. 9, 1939, Mr. Frauenthal was the son of Roslyn L. and Herman C. Frauenthal.

He taught mathematics for 53 years in the Chappaqua and Hackley Schools. He directed Camp Lincoln in the Adirondacks for many years and was a founding Director of the Chief’s Fund. He was a long-term trustee of the Helene Fuld College of Nursing and the Hospital for Joint Diseases. He was an avid outdoorsman, leader and friend to thousands.
He is survived by his brother James C. Frauenthal.
