Ricky Gervais‘ “Derek” is returning to Netflix with a one-hour finale special on April 3.
Gervais, who’s up for a Golden Globe this Sunday for his performance in the comedy, confirmed the news on Twitter.

The special, in which Derek and his coworker Hannah (Kerry Godliman) aren’t getting along, will stream exclusively to Netflix territories in the U.S., Canada, Latin America, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Nordics and Benelux.
Written, directed by and starring Gervais, “Derek” centers around a naive 50-year-old retirement home worker who’s animal crazed and obsessed with reality TV and game shows.
Seasons one and two of “Derek” are currently streaming on Netflix.
