So I'm having this dream I saw a Turbo Z, but I know it must be a dream because how often do you see these anymore?

9.) Ford Taurus (First-Gen)
Road & Track/Car & Driver's very own Robert Sorokanich wonders what the hell happened to the OG Taurus:
"They made a brozillion of them, you saw them in every cul-de-sac and subdivision in America for 10 years, then they all just disappeared. You'll still see its competitors from time to time—even in rust-central Pennsylvania where I'm from, a 25-year-old Chevy Lumina or Buick Park Avenue can still be heard 3800-burbling along any given road, day or night. But the last time I saw a soapbar Taurus was in Robocop."
How does something so ubiquitous just disappear?

8.) Saab 9000
You definitely see 9000s from time to time, but consider the fact that they were made for 14 years. For something with that long of a production run, you think they'd maybe be around a bit more often.

7.) Acura Legend
The Legend was one of the greatest cars to wear an Acura badge. It was handsome, luxurious, and affordable; exactly what an Acura should be.
They helped establish Acura as brand, but you don't see many around, especially compared to their Lexus competitors.

6.) Peugeot 505
The 505 did reasonably well in America for a French car. Even still, seeing one now is a bit of an event. I guess that's what happens when a dealer/parts network vanishes.

5.) Volkswagen Corrado
The Corrado is one of the greatest modern VWs, praised for its great handling, VR6 and supercharged G60 engines, and handsome styling. I can't even remember the last time I've seen one, or its older brother, the Scirocco.

4.) Toyota MR2 (First Generation)
Blame the snap-oversteer? Joking aside, look at your local classifieds and try to find a decent one for sale. There aren't any.

3.) Nissan Pulsar Sportback
I think we can all agree that the world is a little bit darker with a lack of targa/hatchback/wagon/convertible Nissans on the roads.

2.) AMC Eagle
Considering this is what you could call the first crossover, you'd think more of them would have survived, but clearly not.
I've seen only one on the road and I could hardly believe it.

1.) Honda CR-X
The only CRXs you'll see are either total beaters, or tuned to within an inch of their lives. Shame, considering this car represents everything a Honda can and should be.
I'd buy a clean CR-X Si in a heartbeat, if they existed.
