These Portraits Are Drawn Only With Eye-Tracking Software

Graham Fink is an artist with an incredible ability to concentrate. He must be: he manages to draw images like these by subtly shifting his gaze around a screen, recording those movements using eye-tracking software.

It's quite amazing, then, that the results are perhaps better than most of could do with a pencil and pad of paper. In an exhibition currently being hosted at Riflemaker Gallery in London, Fink draws live (s0me of the time), directing his eye movement to create lines on a screen right in front of you. It's made possible using the fairly impressive Tobii eye-tracking hardware, which shines infra-red light into the eye to detect motion. The reflections are then processed to translate motion into hardware inputs in real time. But the real talent here is clearly in Fink's possession. The exhibition runs through until March 21st.
