Immersis Launches Kickstarter for Room Alive-Like VR Platform

VRFocus-With the 2015 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) now over it’s time to focus on some virtual reality (VR) technology that didn’t make it to the show. Last weekend saw Catopsys launch a Kickstarter crowd-funding campaign for a new platform named Immersis. The company labels the tech as virtual reality (VR) without the need for a head-mounted display (HMD) unlike the Oculus Rift or Project Morpheus. The campaign is hoping to raise $100,000 USD by 18th February 2015 and, at the time of writing, is already well on its way to reaching the half way mark.
