Allen Coutermash, 25, Darien and Westport Resident

Allen Ray Coutermash, a resident of Darien, passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Norwalk Hospital in Norwalk. Born on Sept. 16, 1989 in Stamford, he was the son of Shawn Bray of Weston and the late Ray Allen Coutermash who passed away in 2006. He was 25.

Allen spent his life living in Darien and Westport and graduated from Staples High School. He received an Associated Degree from Lincoln Technical Institute in Hamden, CT. Allen was excited about his acceptance into the U. S. Navy. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Besides his mother, he is survived by his sister, Amber Coutermash of Norwalk. Allen is also survived by his grandparents, Gene E. Bray of Idaho, Irene E. Jerue of Sarasota, FL and Pat Coutermash of Darien; and five uncles and three aunts. He was predeceased by his grandfather, Allen Ray Coutermash in 1998.

The family will receive friends at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road, Darien on Friday, Nov. 28, 2014 from 4 to 8 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 29, 2014 at 10 a.m. at the Noroton Presbyterian Church, 2011 Post Road, Darien, CT. Burial will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, Darien.
