Conquer Hard-to-Clean Areas In Your Home by Clearing Stuff Out

When you’re trying to keep your home clean, you might want to consider that less is more. If you have some parts of the house you can never seem to keep clean, clear them out as much as possible.

It’s nice to have things, but we’ve all, at some point, had a part of the house where things seem to pile up. Adrienne Breaux at Apartment Therapy suggests that troublesome areas in your home might need to be flushed out:

You don’t have to live in an empty home to keep it flawlessly clean all the time, but if you’re having trouble keeping a specific room or a certain area clean regularly, you might want to examine what you can live without and whether there’s anything you can remove to make cleaning regularly easier.

So ask yourself, is there a corner of the living room that never seems to stay clean? Do you have a bathroom counter that’s so cluttered you never feel like wiping it down? Clear out some items and make those trouble areas easier to clean. You don’t necessarily have to throw them out, but you may want to consider it. The easier it is to clean your home, the more likely you’ll clean it. Don’t make cleaning any more of a chore for yourself than it is already.
