Bestselling author and esteemed historian Michael Korda will discuss his just released book Clouds of Glory, which gives a fresh, contemporary account of one of America’s most admired and enigmatic historical figures: Robert E. Lee. In the book Korda interweaves Lee’s personal life and military career into a single, compelling story, painting a vivid and admiring portrait of Lee as a general and devoted family man. Publishers Weekly refers to it as “the gold standard for Lee biographies.”

Michael Korda is the former Editor-in-Chief of Simon and Schuster and is the author, among many other books, of New York Times bestsellers Hero and Ike. He lives in Dutchess County, NY.
