EastEnders' Bobby Beale actor Eliot Carrington, 12, praised after live show success
IT WAS a big night for young EastEnders actor Eliot Carrington last night, as his character Bobby Beale was thrust into the spotlight after admitting to murder.
Eliot, just 12 years old, put in a fantastic performance during the various live shows of the soap this week.
Starring as Bobby Beale, the son of Ian and deceased Laura, he's not had much of a role to play - until now.

The young actor delivered a line sure to go down in soap history during Thursday night's live episode, saying: "Whatever she says, she started it. She made everyone unhappy."
Clutching a jewellery box, now considered to be a murder weapon, the young actor didn't falter as he read his lines clearly to the camera.
His co-stars have since been heaping praise on him, including his on-screen brother Ben Hardy.
The soap hunk tweeted saying: "So the secret is finally out....phew...weight off... Elliot who plays Bobby was superb. Going live at 12 years old and smashed it #topnotch"

After the live episode last night, Adam Woodyatt took to the square and celebrated with his co-stars the end of the live 30th anniversary week.
Nobbled for an interview by Zoe Ball on BBC Three's live show, Adam was quick to say how brilliantly he thought Eliot had coped with the live episodes.
And it would seem it wasn't just the cast and crew impressed with the youngster. Twitter rallied around the actor to congratulate him on such a brilliant performance.
One user, Sarah Evans, said: "Eliot Carrington Brilliant performances from all of you last night and a memorable week"
Another added: "Hats off to Eliot Carrington, a 12YO tasked with delivering one of the biggest lines in soap history. And he did it live #EELive"
It would seem Eliot was more than happy to have been picked as Lucy's killer, his director has revealed.
EastEnders’ executive producer Dominic Treadwell-Collins said: "I sat him down and said, 'Bobby’s going to be a naughty boy' to gauge his reaction and he said it was brilliant.
"I cast a little actor who had emotional depth. Because we are the BBC we had to be overly cautious. I had to let the company manager into the secret to work out the psychological impact it might have.
"We also sat down and had a very long conversation with his father to see if he was OK with it. If he had said ‘no’ we would have had to recast. I told Elliot on Monday and he immediately beamed."
