Yet another unfortunate M4 crash

Unfortunately the new BMW M4 is a tough car to handle by many drivers out there. The torque available from low rpms and the high power, couple with a happy tail vehicle, make the new M4 a beast on the road and overjoy or spirited driving can lead to crashes like this. According to AutoGespot, the car was used for test drives to women and in between refills, it was driven by a mechanic to the nearest gas station.

What happened next is unclear, but the result can be seen here: the Alpine White M4 Coupe with the ///M livery on it ended up crashing into a tree. Judging by the photos, the impact was brutal and the car has sustained tens of thousands of dollars in damages, and likely would end up being written off as a total loss.

With less than a year on the market, the new M3 and M4 seem to be involved in more crashes than we would expect, just last year we saw a California driver jumping a median and just before that a fierce crash happened in Germany where the M4 saved the life of many people.

The BMW F82 M4 comes with a 3.0 liter BMW TwinPower Turbo engine that delivers 425 horsepower and 550 Nm (406 lb-ft) of torque, allowing the car to sprint from 0-62mph (0-100km/h) in mere 3.8 seconds with Launch Control. Pretty fast by any standards and often too fast and furious for many drivers.

Maybe a BMW M Performance School would help…
