Irina Shayk & Cristiano Ronaldo Break Up
“We can confirm Irina Shayk has ended her relationship to Cristiano Ronaldo of five years,” Irina’s rep told Us Weekly. “She has been close with his family throughout the course of their relationship. Any negative rumors with regards to Irina and the Ronaldo family are completely false, and have not been a factor in the cause of the spilt. Irina has no further comment at the time.”
Things hadn’t been going well for Cristiano and Irina in the past few months. In July 2014, Cristiano didn’t attend the premiere of Irina’s film Hercules. However, he was in the midst of the World Cup.
The couple also didn’t spend New Year’s Eve together and Irina didn’t go to the annual FIFA Ballon d’Or in Zurich with Cristiano last week.
Cristiano and Irina started dating in 2010 after they met on the set of an Armani ad. They posed nude together in a sexy cover and spread for Vogue Spain in June 2014. (Seriously, it was crazy hot.)
The Real Madrid player was recently awarded the Ballon D’Or’s world footballer of the year award. He was one of the hunkiest soccer players to hit the field at the 2014 World Cup.
Looks like Cristiano will be playing the field now!
