David Zelman, MD received his BA from Syracuse University, MD from SUNY Downstate Medical Center, and fellowship in rheumatology at LSU Medical Center. He is board certified in internal medicine and rheumatology and is a member of the American College of Rheumatology. His clinical practice has spanned 28 years with the last 16 as consultant rheumatologist for Kaiser Permanente in Atlanta. He has lectured in rheumatologic topics for Mercer University in Atlanta and at national meetings for Kaiser Permanente.
In addition to systemic lupus, his interests include gout, osteoporosis, and RA.
