Louro Celebrates Julia Child; Nobu's 20th Anniversary

WEST VILLAGE — Louro will mark Julia Child's 102nd birthday this weekend with a four course menu of what the restaurant calls Julia's favorites, including: oysters, cheese souffle, boeuf bourguignon, bouillabaisse and crepes suzette. The dinner costs $49. [EaterWire]

TRIBECA — Nobu is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a "20 Years in 20 Bites" dinner on September 17. The $120 meal will consist of five courses, with four bites each, a blend of the restaurant's classics and newer items. The menu will also be available at all 27 Nobu locations around the world. CHELSEA — Just Food's Let Us Eat Local fundraiser this year will feature a VIP cocktail hour and raw bar prepared by ABC Cocina, Blue Hill, and L&W Oyster Co.
