Today, Godflesh, the proto-industrial metal outfit founded by Justin Broadrick (Jesu, Napalm Death, Pale Sketcher, Techno Animal, et al.) and G.C. Green (Vitriol, Fall of Because), announced a rare set of live dates, including a mid-September date at Terminal West. The Birmingham, U.K.-based duo has seen a slew of members come and go, with Broadrick and Green being the only constants and two remaining members of the project. The show will feature opening support from Prurient, aka Dominick Fernow (Hospital Productions, Vatican Shadow, Rainforest Spiritual Enslavement, Cold Cave, et al.), making for a supreme bill of noise-obsessed industrial cacophony. Tickets go on sale this Friday, May 22, at 10 a.m.
