Remember the job search app LinkedIn introduced for iOS last year? Well, now Android has a counterpart.
The company says the app brings all the same features seen on iOS, but was built from scratch for Android. The interface is similar to the iOS edition, with some Android-esque touches like side tabs.
Like the iOS app, it’s intended to help you search for a jobs in your free time on the go. You can weed through jobs with title, location, company, industry and seniority level filters. You’ll also get recommendations based on your search history, and it’ll notify you when job listings are set to expire.
Interestingly, LinkedIn also showed some graphics detailing differences between Android and iOS users on its platform.
California and New York have the most iOS users for instance, while Android reigns king in Wisconsin, Georgia and Florida. Meanwhile, Android users apparently send a lot of invites on LinkedIn while iOS users do more searches. 
In the field, Android users are more likely to work in IT and programming, while Apple users tend more towards healthcare management and graphic design. That’s very surprising ;)
The Job Search app is available in English-speaking countries from the Play Store now.
