Movie franchise reboots are usually more likely to end up not being appreciated by the community they were aimed at, instead of responding positively. However, this probably won’t be the case with Mad Max: Fury Road, the next installment in the familiar series that debuted in 1979.
Fury Road will be the fourth Mad Max movie to come out, and if you were hoping for an authentic feel to the atmosphere, rest assured because it still seems to be there. That probably has something to do with the movie’s director, George Miller, the man who was also behind the first three.
The trailer looks simply gorgeous; there’s just something about massive explosions of cars laden with spikes and weapons, all set against a beautifully desolate desert landscape… and plenty of weird haircuts.
Mad Max: Fury Road is set to hit theaters in May of 2015.
