What's The Best 3D Printing Service?

Getting something 3D printed, whether it’s for a DIY project or you’re replacing a broken part, is easy. You have tons of places you can send photos or plans off to and have your item made. This week we want to know which ones you think are the best.

Some of those companies let you email them plans or schematics, and they’ll print them for you and mail them back to you. Others are stores and other makerspaces (including some major shipping companies!) that let you bring in your item or schematic and they’ll print it right there, on-site. If you’ve had this kind of printing done, we want to know which ones you think work the best!

Let’s hear your vote in the discussions below! To cast your vote, follow these guidelines:

  1. Follow this format for your vote, including the bold print. If you don’t, it won’t be counted:
A SCREENSHOT/PHOTO OF THE BEST 3D PRINTING SERVICE
    Vote: [BEST 3D PRINTING SERVICE]
Why: Explain why this service is the one you think is the best! Maybe you’ve used them before and they did right by you. Maybe they accept lots of different plans or items to print, and give you choices in how they’re printed! Maybe they’re just budget-friendly. What makes it the one you’d recommend to others, and why? Make your case!

  2. Don’t duplicate nominations! Instead, if someone’s nominated your pick, star (recommend) it to give it a boost, and reply with your story instead.

  3. Please don’t leave non-entry, direct comments on this post. They’ll just get pushed down. Save your stories for others’ submissions!

If you’re not sure what we mean, just check out the nominations by our writers below. We’ll give you a head start, and they should all be in the proper format, so you can just follow our lead.
