Tickets For Last Leg of Eagles Tour Still In High Demand

This article is more than 8 years old.

The History of the Eagles Tour will return to North America on May 19 when the legendary classic rock band takes the stage at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas. The Austin show will be the Eagles’ first show since March 15 when they played at Mt. Smart Stadium in Auckland, New Zealand.

By the time the tour reaches its end on July 29 in Bossier City, Louisiana, the Eagles will have been on the road with the History of the Eagles Tour for over two years. The tour has stopped in 12 different countries on three different continents and has garnered critical acclaim, even being described as a “full-fledged summary of their career – and beautifully staged.”

Despite the fact that this is the third leg of the Eagles’ tour in the United States, demand for Eagles tickets remains high on the secondary market. According to data supplied by TicketNetwork, the Eagles’ show in El Paso, Texas, at the Don Haskins Center is the most sought-after show of the entire leg. Eagles fans have paid an average of $202.20 per ticket to see the legendary band perform on May 22 – the only show of the leg to eclipse an average of $200 per ticket.

The last stop of the tour in Bossier City is in high demand as well – as it could be the last show that the Eagles ever play. Fans have paid an average of $199.92 per ticket to see the last show of the entire tour on July 29. The get-in price for the final show in Bossier City doesn’t hover much below that city’s average, fans are paying $191 just to get in. This is a stark comparison to the $166 get-in price for the earlier El Paso show.

By the time the tour ends in Louisiana in late July, the Eagles will have played 142 shows throughout the five legs of the tour. Perhaps with ticket demand remaining so high, this won’t be their final tour after all.
