Editor’s Note: This year we’re taking a different approach to naming Front Towards Gamer’s Game of the Year. Instead of partaking in heated debates and fiery arguments on what deserves top billing, we’ll take a cue from the Greeks. Each staff member prepares their Top Six, or top two, games of the year and from it we decipher (democratically) our game of the year. No, no attempts at what an individual imagines what earned the right to don the crown, just their opinion list of 2014 games that left them proud to play now and in the future. By the amount of hours put in, emotionally devastated they were afterwards, the reasoning and positioning derives from the writer. Enjoy.
"The artwork is stunning, the soundtrack is fun and suits the game perfectly, and the game runs really well for early access. You can play BioGun with your mouse and keyboard, but I strongly recommend using a gamepad. The controls are super tight, and playing this game is a pleasure." - ZeePond
Review: Some might find Pools relaxing, others rather scary. Regardless, Pools is compelling from beginning to end.
MAJOR ORDER: Helldivers, it's time to choose between liberating Choohe or Penta. Depending on your choice, you will receive either the MD-17 Anti-Tank Mines or the RL-77 Airburst Rocket Launcher.
