Conspire Tracks and Analyzes Your Email Habits

Email can be frustratingly time consuming. You certainly don’t want to ignore your inbox, but you don’t want to spend all day reading and replying, either. To better manage your email habits, Conspire tracks your usage data, then analyzes it, and sends you weekly report cards.

To start, all you need to do is sign up, which is as simple as linking your email account. You can connect multiple email accounts, too. From there, you’ll get a weekly summary of your habits, including:

  • How long it takes you to reply to an email, on average

  • How often it takes your contacts to reply, on average

  • Who you contact most

  • How many emails you send each week

  • Your ratio of received emails to sent emails

  • The contacts you’re losing touch with

We’ve given you plenty of tips for managing your email habits. This tool helps you understand those habits in the first place, so you can better implement those tips.

What’s more, Conspire also helps you network. It tells you how many degrees of separation there are between you and other users or companies. If you’re looking for an introduction to this person or company, you can see whom you should contact in your network to make it happen.

But this also means you’ll have a public profile when you sign up for the tool. The profile is editable, allowing you to remove information, like your social networks, for example. But there’s no option for making it totally private, although your email address isn’t shared with anyone. According to their privacy policy, they don’t share any of your information, either. As for security, they say they take “reasonable precautions” to safeguard your info. They don’t detail what these precautions are, but you can read the rest of the policy here.
