Kan Gao of Freebird also used the announcement to make a call for help for one of To The Moon’s pixel artists. As this post explains, Jordan graduated last year but is now currently hospitalized and is undergoing chemotherapy.

“While the purely medical expense is mostly saved by insurance, the hospital’s hours away from their home, and his mom quit her job to stay with him; there’re a lot of unexpected expenses and lodging for the family,” writes Gao. So, if you’d like to voluntarily help out, you can send donations to Jordan’s mom to the PayPal address [email protected].

Lastly, Gao says that he’s going back to work on Finding Paradise, which is the 2nd episode of To The Moon. It concerns the boy fromA Bird Story when he’s grown up and becomes a patient of the Sigmund Corp – the company that uses technology to alter a person’s memories to grant unfulfilled wishes.
