Beeswing's watercolor world tells a story of life as a child growing up in rural Scotland.
Beeswing is a lovely little exercise in nostalgia and a fabulous ode to the developer’s childhood home, but it may perhaps be too slow to hold the player’s attention.
indiePub has published its weekly look at new and notable crowd funding efforts by indie game developers.
This week’s Indie Pleas include: Confederate Express, a pixel tactical-survival RPG, Alone, a virtual reality survival horror for the Oculus Rift; Night In The Woods, a gorgeous story-based adventure game about life and changes; Eden Star, a first-person survival creation game; and Sentris, a music-based game where everyone can be a musician.
I don't mind funding games but they need to be at least comeing to one of the big 3 consules. I don't play on pc,iphone or anything like that.
From my understanding, it is most cost-effective to release on PC/mobile first. Developing for console is a long and expensive road that some starting indie devs can't afford right away.
