Speechless, Dorian stammered, wondering if she had overheard himself saying that to the other occupants of Skyhold. He had, guiltily, and on a number of occasions. “I- I did not mean-“ But she had already broken him off to make her final statement.
“I am just afraid,” she said, her voice sounding so sad and defeated. Dorian felt his own emotions rise up in his chest to hear it. “I don’t want to be afraid anymore…. I need help.”

An orb in the back of his office, an annoying dwarf mocking him in his house, he postponed everything until Aisling and Dorian would be grown up and had lived a long life.Things won't probably go according to plan.

there’s so little alistair/leliana/warden fics so I had to put on my writer gauntlet and do it myself and as usual it turned into something bigger. You can consider it an au or a fixfic, since I have problems with some quests and story progression that I plan to change, as well as writing in the og heroes and expanding on their story throughout the Inquisition plot.

Not all you've heard of the Dark Lord of Mordor may be the truth. As a start, it may be that we have to deal with a Dark Lady, whose main mistake had always been being more interested in experimenting on magic and possibilities than in actual politics.
Things may change, when two Hobbits entered from the Black Gate, found nothing they would expected Mordor to be -surely not a welcoming place where Orcs were more busy trying to plant and grow greens than actually conquering the world- and started to realise that the real problem was another wannabe-evil overlord... Who as so many before him had been fooled by a very bad translation on the inscription on a certain Ring.(Someone commented under one of my illustrations that my canon Inquisitor, a Lavellan who cries at every dragon she slays and would resolve problems offering people food if she could, had "the eye of Sauron". I imagined her in Sauron's place and chaos ensued. Said chaos made me laugh too much to leave it in my head, apparently.
