Big Game

After getting a glimpse at the film with the Finnish and United Kingdom trailer, the action thriller Big Game is finally heading to the United States this summer with a limited theatrical and VOD release. And with that comes a new US trailer for the flick that sees Samuel L. Jackson as the President of the United States stranded in the wilderness of Finland after Air Force one is attacked by terrorists. This feels like a Matthew Vaughn movie, almost like a spiritual partner to Kingsman: The Secret Service, or a retro live-action Disney adventure turned up to 11. It looks completely outrageous and full of wild action. Watch!

Here's the new US trailer for Jalmari Helander's Big Game, originally from Yahoo:

You can also still watch the original UK trailer for Big Game right here.

Big Game is written and directed by Jalmari Helander (Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale). When Air Force One is shot down by terrorists leaving The President of the United States stranded in the wilderness, there is only person who can save him – a 13-year old boy called Oskari, who had been planning to track down a deer, but instead discovers the most powerful man on the planet in an escape pod. With the terrorists closing in, the unlikely duo must team up to escape their hunters as Pentagon officials observe the action via satellite feed. The film hits the UK on May 8th and hits VOD and limited theaters in the US on June 26th.

Damn this looks so cool. Sam Jackson is a bad ass for taking this kind of role.

Though this movie does look pretty cool...I feel like Sam will take any role. Whenever I go to Target or Best Buy to buy a new movie, I always see these straight to DVD movies, and he's staring in all of them.
