India (185/6) bt. West Indies (182) by four wickets.
West Indies won the toss and elected to bat, but it was a decision they failed to capitalise upon as a poor batting effort allowed India to control Friday's clash.
Dwayne Smith fell for six off the bowling of Mohammed Shami (3-35). Marlon Samuels tallied two before he was run out by Mohit Sharma, with the West Indies' expectation soon falling on Chris Gayle.
Gayle set the highest score of the tournament so far with his 215 against Zimbabwe, per ESPN Cricinfo. He appeared slow to react on Friday, however, and he was dismissed by Shami after scoring 21 from 27 balls with his side standing at 35/3.
Umesh Yadav (2-42) then bowled Denesh Ramdin for a golden duck, before Lendl Simmons (9) and Jonathan Carter (21) took the West Indies' total to 71/6. Sky Sports highlighted Ramdin's dismissal:

Andre Russell added just eight runs before Ravindra Jadeja (2-27) took his first wicket of the day. Shami then picked up his third victim, dismissing Darren Sammy for 26.
The lower order worked avidly to try to set a respectable total, with Jason Holder (57) and Jerome Taylor offering the side's best partnership of 51. Taylor was out caught and bowled by Yadav with the score at 175/9. When Jadeja dismissed Holder just seven runs later, the West Indies' second sub-200 score of the tournament was confirmed.
India scored just 104 to beat United Arab Emirates last time out, but needed to ensure complacency didn't set in ahead of Friday's chase. West Indies threatened to make up quick ground, with Taylor (2-33) dismissing Sharma (7) and Shikhar Dhawan (9) with the score at 20/2.
Virat Kohli provided a calming influence, however, posting a useful knock of 33 from 36 balls, including a quintet of fours. Russell (2-43) took the wicket of the 26-year-old to reduce India to 63/3, per Sky Sports:

Ajinkya Rahane (14) then headed back to the pavilion after Snicko picked up the slightest of edges off Kemar Roach's teasing delivery. Sky Sports highlighted the moment in question:

When Smith (1-22) dismissed Suresh Raina for 22 with the score at 107/5, there was certainly growing confidence among the West Indies camp that a memorable comeback could be secured. Jadeja (13) hooked the ball into Samuels' hands, and despite a fumble, Russell had his second wicket of the day.
MS Dhoni (45) and Ravichandran Ashwin (16) then ended any West Indies momentum with an unbeaten partnership of 51, marking four straight wins for India at this year's tournament.
