Summary
Before they reached Sabaody, Sanji and Zoro would have said they'd figured out everything they needed to about their relationship. After all, they were happier than they'd ever been, right? But when the pair and the rest of the Straw Hat crew are torn apart, they find they may still have a lot to learn. And two years can really change a person. Will they be able to find each other, and put the pieces back together?
(A large chunk of this can be considered a re-write of the Kamabaka Queendom storyline in which Sanji has already worked through some but not all of his issues. He thus has a calmer and less...problematic response, but the experience still brings up a lot of uncomfortable unprocessed feelings.
Tags will be added along the way. Ratings for each chapter and the next will be listed at the top, along with any relevant warnings. Since this will be diving into Sanji's psyche, there will be quite a few, including child abuse, homophobia, transphobia, misogyny, etc. But he gets support along the way and it does have a happy ending, I promise!)
